Yeah, I know. The title of this post sounds like the dream weekend of the American teenager. Well... this has been something of a dream weekend for this American teen. Came up Sunday night to my aunt's house and watched tv, ate good food(yes, pizza counts as good food for me) watched Harry Potter 7.2 with Aunt Jen and Grammy C then bashed the purple glowy lights out of some trolls with Uncle M, Aunt Jen, and occasionally Grammy C. Yes, this is when the games come in. Aunt Jen and Uncle M have an E-box and a PS 3, so we've been playing a gauntlet game and simply beating the purple(the bad guys let out a flash when you hit them, if they're still alive.) out off people. It can get pretty awesome. And if you're wondering, I like video games with plenty of hack and bash in it. However, no matter how violent I am in the game, I don't really like hurting people, though I might put you in a story and have you run over. Ah! The possibilities of the fictional world! I can do whatever I want and people in the real world never feel the same effect. Anyway, So, after going to Stone Mountain(ok, so I'm in Atlanta), Aunt Jen and I went to the store and got Doritos, sun chips(french onion), cherry coke zero, lime diet coke(which I'm drinking, pretty good actually) and orange Fanta, also diet. Oh! and a can of original pringals. I haven't gotten into the pringals because if I did, they wouldn't last a day. No joke. Anyway, Wednesday, Jen and C took me to the mall of Georgia. It was, in a single word, AWESOME! A geeks prides, TWO OF THEM, in pretty much one place. Game, movie, and midevle replicas, gizmos, beautiful dresses, an Imax theater, a merry go round, food court, book stores, and normal shops like JC Penny and Dillard's right next to shops like Coach. Whole stores we've never seen. The place is three stories tall! I've only ever been to a signal story mall! After the mall, we went to a restaurant called The Flying Machine. The shrimp Alfredo was awesome and that day they had a karaoke singer there. It was a nice, yet casual, place. I ate about half my entree, it was a big dish! So, Thursday and Friday were mostly goofing off days, but I had to do math. Yuck. Today I did a lesson and a quiz, so I just need to do another three Monday and I'll be on course, sort of. Today I read some in a newer book and am currently trying to ignore how my grandmother is playing dark alliance two with a high level character at the beginning and still managing to need leading by the hand. Ok, she's a grandmother and she can be kinda cool sometimes, but STILL! Sorry, when it comes to games, sometimes I get critical. For dinner last night, we had pizza hut and for breakfast, I had a bowl of sun chips, a few left over gummy worms, and a cold piece of pizza with an orange soda. Nice huh? Anyway, staying til Monday I think, could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like we're leaving tonight. So, there's a kinda soratice look at my week. Add to that the fact that Noise( my little brother) isn't here, it's been bliss.
I guess it's pretty bad that I can't see a way to compare God as he is to our lives with this, but I just don't see much in there. Perhaps the Mall of Georgia is something. You could spend a whole day walking around and looking, and still not see it all nor experience all of it's wonders. You walk in and it takes your breath away. God is simalar. You walk into his presance and it steals your breath. You walk in his way with eyes wide, trying to take it all in but it takes a life time a a half to see all his wonders. And even if you get wearyed and wish to leave, there is still more waiting for you.
How was that? Good? I hope so. To those who read my rambling thoughts and my flights of fancy, I hope you enjoy at least a few and possably learn something of our glorious creator and his love for us. And so another post comes to a close I I shall go away to watch as my Aunt Jen and Grammy C beat up some bats, wolves and goblins. ANdf let's not forget those nasty spiders. No matter where they are, I don't like them, even if their dead.
Lil Bit
Actually, that one line was going to be paradise, I just forgot to fix it. Also, it was going to be (sporadic) but I didn't fix it.
