I got next ta nothin' ta say.
I missed Valantine's Day Post! I forgot to make a post on the day of love! GAH! ok, I'm good now. Anyway, love is letting your little brother lean on you then pushing him up to teach him to stand, or sit, on his own. Love is letting your little brother sleep until 40 minutes before church and then forcefully tell him to get dressed. Love is feeding medicine laced applesauce to a family member every day at 9 AM and 9 PM to prevent seizures. Love is knowing when to stand beside and when to back away and offer silent support. Love is understanding your mom when she gives you a look and doing whatever it is you know she wants without complaining. Love is a lot of things but it is never cruel or nasty. Love is kind, gentle, patient, and understanding. It can be tough, it can be contrary, but it is a wonderful thing that can drag you from the darkest pit into the brightest light... unless you're Romeo and Juliet or Cleopatra and Mark Antony, then it can kill you and cause a whole lot of heart ache, but mostly it's a marvelous thing to be celebrated and not shunned.
Ok, that's all I got. Later!
Lil Bit
Shame on you!! Haha just kidding :) You were probably busy on the day of love, dining at a fancy restaurant with your husband-to-be, feeding eachother chocolate-covered cherries and staring dreamily into eachother's eyes :))) Haha but seriously, I LOVE your VERY TRUE examples of LOVE! You feed your grandmother medicine-laced applesauce every day at 9 AM and 9 PM to prevent seizures?! I didn't know that! Oh, wait, it's Noise, isn't it? That makes a lot more sense :) We're still praying for him! Yeah, sometimes I wonder why love hurts so much, and then I think about what you said. Love should never be heartbreaking, hurtful, or betraying. If it turns out to be one of those things, then it was never really love to begin with :) Oh btw, thanks for commenting back on my comments so much! :D In the past when I commented on your blog posts, sometimes it felt like I was talking to myself, hahaha :)Well, sorry I didn't get to talk to you today at LV, but I hope to next week! See ya then! :D
ReplyDeleteHey girlie, I just wanted to apologize for taking so long to review your second chapter, I thought I was getting a laptop this week but I actually didn't end up getting one, so now I'm back to sharing our family's computer (which all five of us share)and today we are leaving for Kentucky and I will not have internet access for about two days until we get up there. *Pant pant* All that to say, I have NOT forgotten about it, just bear with me and my laptop/shared family computer/long-trip-to-Kentucky troubles! I will try to review it while I am up there, so definitely expect it sometime in the next week! Love ya! :D
ReplyDeleteHey again, haha. We JUST got back from Kentucky and I still have all of my Basic Writing homework to do, plus Anatomy's test, and of course classes until Thursday. In other words, Thursday is the only day I am free so you will almost FOR SURE get your review that day, IF I can pry my brother off of the computer. Just letting you know that I haven't forgotten by any stretch of the imagination! Haha :)
