So, we go to the mall and look at Noise clothes. Now, 15 dollars for a good pair of Leiv's is acceptable in teen or adult size, but 23 dollars for 6 year old clothes? That's a bit much. We got Noise one pair of pants for 15 dollars and a shirt at Sears and then went to Payless for my shoes. Grammy was most gracious and took Noise to look at the kiddy rides while I looked for my size. I tried on two cute pairs of shoes I wouldn't wear very often.(There, I used the right spelling! Woot!) Then I tried on some converse look a-likes, a pair of pink Champion sneakers, a pair of blue Champions and a pair of gray ones. I ended up getting the white, gray, and pink(very little) Sneakers. It was awesome that I found my size, style, and price(they were only $30) all in about ten minutes or so. Thank the Lord! Plus, I didn't get mad until Noise started to make an annoying scrap type noise while we were at the store waiting for Dad to get some stuff for dinner. All in all, a good day.
God looks out for those who love Him. I asked him to give me patience as we went out and he gave me what I needed until we got back home. Now if he would send some rain out where the crops are failing, I think it was the south west. Anyway, thank you Lord for giving me patience with my family as we walked in the Mall and thank you for getting us home safe, even in the heavy rain.
Random thought, the things in life can seem like a heavy rain, washing away everything, even your good attitude. You get discouraged and it feels like the gray, cold, rain has gotten inside you. God can bring you out of the rain, dry you off, and show you the sun once more. And when the sun is too hot, the air to dry, he can bring the rain to refresh your soul. What an amazing God we have.
